If this happens to you, you cannot just close your eyes and wish the Ex away. You can’t go into hysterics if you are tasked to choose the Groomsmen Gifts. At least as a relief, it will not be hard to pick the gift for the Ex-to be-groomsman, because you know very well this Ex collects engraved zippos but is not [into|keen about[/spin] a passport wallet.
It will not do you any good to keep the whole thing secret , your fiance will hear about anyway; perhaps not now but the secret will manage to leak. Anyway, Ex Men who become groomsmen at their Ex Women’s weddings will not ruin the big day by bay about your erstwhile relationship. But if he does, what can you do?

The very moment you learn that an Ex is one of your groom’s handpicked groomsmen, talk to your groom know about the Ex. This can be do not say anything about the Ex, you will be living a lie and for how long can you live a lie? A year or forever? Better get the whole thing off your chest right away.
Face to face with the Ex, be a gracious hostess. This is easier said than done but it’s easier if your groom knows the score. Your affable style will tell that Ex that the past is long dead but you are pleased that he is well.
But do not give him a chance to corner you for an inviting chat even if it’s just that; you do not want to send the wrong signals. After all, spin]it’s|it is[/spin] your groom you love not the Ex. But what if you still have a special feeling for your Ex? Then that is different tale.
