It may be true that most married women believe that the most important thing in their lives is their marriage though it is also true that many of them engage themselves in married women affairs. The more conservative among the married woman segment will no doubt express indignation that others like them engage in extramarital affairs and will condemn such women for being immoral and irresponsible.

However, once a marriage has lasted for many long years these same married women may find themselves succumbing to temptation and so will become one more statistic involving married women affairs. There are several reasons why such instances occur including emotional burnout and a rift between the woman and her spouse.

In fact, there is nothing nice about having an affair because no sooner than you indulge in this kind of activity that you will be overcome with guilt feelings and anger and pain. This begs the question whether such an outcome is worthwhile. The explanation of course is that the modern generation is fed on temporary feelings and to them permanence and words like ‘forever’ make no sense.

In fact, the modern youth likes selfishness and wants their expectations to be satisfied ‘ no matter what cost they need to pay. When women become stressed they will seek release which often takes the form of an affair. Indulging in affairs is something that happens because of the need to escape realities and enter into a world of fantasy ‘ even one that is temporary.

A married woman will find reasons to justify having an affair and these reasons include their husbands being neglectful of them and even because their husbands work for so long that they do not have time available to pay attention to the wife’s needs and desires.
